On the other hand, it was very enjoyable. She knew well that she shouldn't think like that considering the reason why he took a break, but what could she do when it already happened. If she could do what she wanted to do, she would have cut out the unrequited love first and make it mutual.
But even though Kyle was at home, he seldom ran into Emily. He only had three meals with her. But Emily was happy with that alone. It made her heart pound at every meal where she could dine across from Kyle. Even though she thought she was stupid, she still was the same.
She didn’t know if it was because he saw her more often than before, or maybe it was because he had lost his memory? Kyle's attitude changed a little. But Emily didn’t know whether it was for the better or for the worse.
“Are you going to leave another piece of meat uneaten?”
“It seems that you hate tomatoes.”
“Eating only sweets is not good for the body.”
Kyle seemed to care about Emily not eating properly. He even asked if she had fainted because of that reason.
Emily had fainted in front of Kyle only once. When she slept with him. No matter how worried he was, it was terribly shameful to speak of it, so Emily internally screamed every time.

Suddenly, a good thought crossed Emily's mind. As soon as he saw the smile that appeared on Emily's lips, Kyle frowned. But Emily was a woman who did what she wanted to do. Even if she regretted what she did.
“Then I will go too.”

“Have you ever been hunting?”
“I know how to shoot a bow from a running horse.”
She just shot at the the target. In fact, Emily had never shot a live animal with a bow. It felt terrifying just thinking about it. But she was not weak enough to see dead animals.
“If you say so.”
Kyle didn't stop Emily. He didn’t seem to have either any expectations or worries. Emily felt lonely again at his attitude. But Emily soon realized that what she expected was the opposite.
The servant only brought one horse. It was too big for Emily to ride. No matter how you look at it, it was a horse for Kyle to ride.
At this point in time when she had already changed all of her clothes, maybe he wanted her to leave him alone. As Emily opened her mouth to protest, her waist was grabbed.
“Ack!”
A scream came out of Emily's mouth, but Kyle didn't listen to her and lifted her up and put her on top of the horse. And he immediately got behind her.
Kyle grabbed the reins. She felt his hard body pressed against her back. Emily's face flushed red. Emily opened her mouth to stutter.
“I, I know how to ride a horse!”
“I know you haven't ridden a horse since you got married.”
It was a cold voice. But was it because of the hot breath? Goosebumps ran down her spine. Emily’s voice died down.
“That’s true, but….”
“If you fall off a horse and get hurt, I will suffer, so don’t be stubborn.”
Kyle held Emily in one of his arms and drove the horse quickly. Emily's mouth shut immediately. Why would Kyle suffer if she got hurt? It would be the doctors and the maids who suffer. Her mouth twitched, but she didn’t say anything, perhaps because of his arms around her waist. Emily grabbed the horse's mane and stayed still while he held her in his arms.

It didn't take long to get to the hunting grounds near the capital. Or, maybe it was because she was busy being held in his arms. By the time Emily managed to calm her pounding heart, she was already in the hunting grounds.
A refreshing scent unique to the forest crept into her nostrils. The sun was on top of her head, but it wasn't hot because of the thick trees. Rather, a cool wind blew and it even felt a little chilly.
When did she get here? Emily opened her eyes wide and looked around her.
She then found a small bush trembling. Emily unwittingly grabbed Kyle's arm which was wrapped around her waist.

Kyle looked down at Emily. Her blue eyes twinkled with curiosity. He looked at Emily silently, then turned his head to where her gaze was directed.
The bush trembled, and soon a small red head appeared from beneath it. And a small exclamation burst out of Emily's mouth.
“Look over there!”
Kyle silently shifted his gaze from the red fox to Emily. His dark eyes reflected Emily's lively expression. Emily didn't even know he was staring at her with piercing eyes, and she only looked at the fox cubs with excitement.
“How cute…. I guess it’s still a baby. Where did Mom and Dad go while leaving this little one?”
“…….”
“Kyle, people in the North keep foxes like dogs. Foxes are smart and, if properly tamed, they will not bite people or harm livestock.”
“…….”
“Fox fur is very soft, so petting a fox will feel good….”
Emily, who was talking hard with herself, suddenly felt uncomfortable and looked back at Kyle. He was just staring at her. Emily, who was then embarrassed, lowered her voice.
“I've been talking a lot….”
And then she kept her mouth shut. She couldn’t believe she had been talking like this when she was just a burden in hunting. Instead of hunting together, she was about to make all the animals run away with her loud voice. She didn't want to cause trouble, even if she wasn't helpful. Emily listened to him as him voice got quieter. When she leaned her slender body against his chest, he hugged her shoulder.
Kyle was silent. Instead, he slowly lowered his gaze along her face. His eyes were fixed on her lips.
