Delicious Sacrifice - Chapter 7

The monster approached the bear calmly. As if it he did a good thing, he patted the bear’s head, and the bear nodded like a child and accepted his touch before going out the door again. 

“Are, are you raising a bear?” 

“He’s already all grown up so why would I raise him?” 

“But he so docile? Wait, did you send him on an errand? How?” 

“I can do it if I want.” 

“Huh?” 

It was incomprehensible to human common sense. The monster shrugged his shoulders at Miela’s disbelieving gaze. It was something he couldn’t explain himself. 

Miela first sprinkled the seasoning the monster had given her and ate it diligently. Even though she was curious, she had to fill her stomach. 

The monster watched Miela eat until she was full. While eating, when Miela felt embarrassed, he dutifully accepted her request to put on pants. 

She was extremely hungry, but since it wasn’t marinated meat, no matter how much seasoning she put on, it was just okay. When she was full, she naturally let go of her hand. 

“Did you finish eating?”

Miela hurriedly grabbed the bone she had put down.

The monster waited without any suspicion.

She grabbed a random piece of cloth from the bed and put it on her mouth. In the end, she threw up more than she had eaten.

Exhausted, Miela pushed away the clothes containing the vomit and laid down on the floor. She heard the monster approaching.

“You can’t eat me now…….” 

“I won’t.” 

“You’ll eat it once I finish eating.” 

The monster thought for a moment and answered. 

“No. When you gain more energy and become this plump.” 

The monster spread out both arms to express ‘this much.’

It was a thickness that Miela had never been able to achieve in her life. Even if she didn’t get that thick, the monster could still eat her, but Miela was relieved that she wouldn’t be eaten for a while. Maybe she would be safe for the rest of her life. 

“Excuse me, some water…….” 

When she thought that she wouldn’t be eaten right away, she regained the courage to ask him for another errand. 

“Okay, wait a minute.” 

This time again, the monster didn’t move and just watched Miela. 

After a while, the door opened again. This time, she wasn’t surprised. As expected, a bear appeared holding a bowl of water in its mouth. The bear quietly placed the bowl on the floor and left the room again. 

The monster brought her the water. 

She had forced herself to eat, and so her esophagus felt like it was going to burn after vomiting. She drank. As expected of a bear, its portions were very large. He scooped up water from a bucket rather than a bowl. 

After drinking a lot of water until her stomach calmed down, she came to her senses. 

“What happened? Bear!”

“Just how? Won’t it bite people?” 

“Not unless I tell it to bite?”

The monster stared at Miella.

What was it? 

Miela didn’t know what was going on and just stared at him. Nothing happened. That was what she was thinking right at that moment.

She wasn’t trying to get up, but she suddenly got up. Her body moved as if someone had forcibly grabbed her arm and lifted her up. 

While she was flustered, her legs moved on their own and she went up to the bed and laid down. This was not her will either. 

Her fingers pulled down her clothes on their own. In an instant, she was naked. She laid down on a pile of clothes and spread her legs wide open toward the monster. This was also not her will.

The monster climbed onto Miela’s body and grinned. 

“Like this.” 

At that moment, the power that had been controlling her body suddenly disappeared. 

Miela collapsed onto the pile of clothes. For a moment, the sensations in her body that she had completely forgotten about returned.

The monster answered firmly.

It seemed like there were some things that only the monster knew, like controlling animals at will or moving as fast as the wind. Miela also knew that they weren’t the same even though they looked similar.

Miela was taken aback by the monster’s question. 

“Uh……, because you are lonely? Or bored?” 

“I don’t really know what that is.” 

Miela lowered her head awkwardly. It seemed that the monster had different emotions. 

It was only natural to feel lonely if you live alone in a castle for decades or centuries. It was an amount of time when a human would go crazy from loneliness, but the monster didn’t seem particularly distressed.

“No more questions?”

“Are you going to eat more of that?” 

The monster pointed to the grilled meats that was still quite a bit left. 

Miela shook her head with a tired face. 

“I ate everything for today.” 

“Okay. Then I’ll eat now.” 

The monster’s eyes squinted as it licked its lips with its tongue. If it weren’t for being a monster, its gaze would have been so seductive that it would have made her gasp. The problem was that it was a monster. 

“You said you wouldn’t eat me until I was this, this, this big!”
